Presentation

The PH3 is a RIAA tube preamplifier for MM cartridge.

The design itself is very simple, but the schematic and the components are of very high quality. This is a phono preamplifier, which will make you discover the upper ranges of high fidelity listening.

Transparency, dynamics and colour rendering are of the highest level, revealing all of the marvellous distinctive qualities of those good old vinyl records.

 

Principle :

  • RIAA tube preamplifier for moving magnet cartridge
  • Moving coil cartridge is possible using an external transformer adaptor

Components :

  • Input tube 6SL7 : double triode, with low micro-phonic effect, high linearity and strong gain.
  • Output tube ECC99 : high linearity and low internal impedance
  • Silk or silver capacitors

Circuit :

  • Two stages with continuous interstage coupling
  • Passive RIAA correction circuit set at + or - 0.2dB and placed between the two stages
  • Ultra fast regulated high tension power supply
  • No feedback 
Chassis :
  • The chasis is manufactured using thick aluminium plates which are closely assembled to ensure perfect stability
  • All wiring is hand-wired point to point in our workshops

Updating the order at the later stage remains possiblebut it includes extra shipping costs.
